Abstract
The present research aimed to analyze the relationship between the financial budget and the quality of educational services in Regular Basic Education (RBE) in Metropolitan Lima, Peru, during the year 2025. The study was conducted under a quantitative approach, using a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design. The population consisted of 145 public RBE educational institutions, while the sample was composed of 105 principals, administrative staff, and parents, selected through random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire with a Likert-type scale, which was validated through expert judgment and demonstrated adequate statistical reliability. Data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics, applying normality tests and Spearman’s Rho correlation coefficient.The results revealed a moderate, positive, and statistically significant relationship between the financial budget and the quality of educational services (? = 0.495; p < 0.01). Likewise, significant relationships were identified between the financial budget and teacher performance, the implementation of educational and technological materials, as well as the maintenance and infrastructure of educational facilities. In conclusion, appropriate management and execution of the financial budget are associated with higher levels of educational service quality in Regular Basic Education institutions in Metropolitan Lima, providing relevant evidence for decision-making in public educational management.
